Josiah’s Fire

jojobook_backJosiah is 8 years old. He was diagnosed with autism and is non-verbal, but his hidden voice found its way out through what he calls “open communication” to reveal astounding wisdom and insight using typing on an iPad. The conversations between Josiah and his mom and dad had been private until one day Josiah wrote, “I share so many good quotes with you. How come you never put them on Facebook?”

The first thought was, “How do you even know about Facebook?” The second thought was, “That seems so scary–who is going to believe this is coming from a kid? With autism? Who doesn’t speak?” The third thought was, “I’ll make a little page so maybe my relatives can follow.” Well, its reach continues to grow little by little as Mom posts nuggets of what he writes, almost daily. It is insightful, poetic, challenging and fresh. You can “like” Josiah’s Fire on Facebook, or just visit it anytime even if you don’t have a Facebook account.

You can hear more about the story to Josiah’s communication breakthrough with God’s intervention in this hour-long radio interview here.

Mary, Refuge of Holy Love says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“Rain falls as God directs, no matter the hour, day or month of the year. It accomplishes its effects according to God’s Will. So it is with grace. It is not hindered by time or space. Unlike rain however, sometimes it is graciously accepted and other times ignored and rejected. When a soul is given grace it is a means of direction, protection or of aiding others. When the soul chooses his own will over the opportunity of grace, he is no longer an instrument of grace. If this pattern continues, he becomes an easy target of Satan and an instrument of evil.”

“Grace always comes to you through the Hands of Divine Love. Therefore, grace persuades the soul to seek and live in the Truth. The dishonest person is the one who summarily rejects grace and listens to evil. Such people as these need to be held accountable for the sake of their own journey to Heaven.”

“The acceptance or rejection of grace comes to each soul and in every present moment. Cooperation with grace or lack of response to grace can affect the future of the entire world.”

    Read Galatians 6:7-10+

Synopsis: Regarding adherence of conscience to the Ten Commandments, make no mistake, a man will reap only what he sows. Therefore, do not grow weary of doing good according to the Ten Commandments and learned in the Moral Standards of Truth.

Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

  2. I just listened to your interview on Coast to Coast am with Richard Syrette. It is so beautiful. If your book is sold on Amazon (I am writing you first so I don’t know) I am ordering four copies and will send it to my 3 sons and families and of course one for me. God’s blessings to us can be so unrecognized. I know. Now I am going to open my spiritual eyes to see if He will show me what I have asked Him for for all of my life. Thanks to your son and his Mom and Dad. Blessings to you from me, Joan.

  4. GOD loves the old, the weak and the hopeless. I am 73 year old man. God has touch me the same way He touch Josiah. Every time I walk among GOD’s nature world, I am owed and inspired by the flowers, the little trees, the peaceful nature of His creation, then I am filled with love and content. You see, the little flowers speak and witness to me unconditionally with love only the children of GOD can understand.

I’m in awe of what God has worked in your lives. Just yesterday I was meditating on the verse that God is the giver of all good things and today I watched your interview on Sid Roth I’m just overcome by the wonder of it all. God is great and to be praised forever and ever.

  12. Please don’t take this as anything more than what it is — an honest question from a Christian who loves the LORD and believes in miracles, but, years ago, there was a huge controversy over facilitated communications in severely impaired children. They were typing on computers by having an aide guide their hand. I don’t doubt these aides believed the child was doing the typing, but subsequent tests showed that if a barrier was put up, so that the aide could NOT see the keyboard, the children, unfortunately, could write nothing on their own.
I have seen you and Josiah on tv, and have read your book, but I have never seen Josiah type, without your assistance. I understand your explanation that he has weakness in his wrists, and that you are merely supporting his hand, but I must ask you, is Josiah able to type anything if his keyboard is obscured from your vision? I ask this, not to condemn you, nor doubt your word, but I would consider what Josiah writes an authentic miracle, only if he can write the things he does, without your ability to see the keyboard, while he is writing. The people in the study, who were found to have actually written the words for the impaired children, did not realize that it was they, who were actually doing the writing. They wanted so badly to believe the children were actually communicating with them and their families — for the first time in their lives, the parents thought their children were telling them that they loved them. It was quite pitiful when they discovered their children could NOT communicate their feelings for them. Indeed, some parents refused to believe it was not real, because the thought that their beautiful children were really unable to do so, was more than they could handle. I truly hope that this is not the case, with you and Josiah.
I have seen, first hand, instant miracles. I saw a man who had one leg shorter than the other, and I watched it grow out to match the other, right in front of me. It was not a trick — I saw the leg actually grow, in a blur, not twenty feet away from where I sat. And I have experienced healing miracles, in my own body. And I have no doubt, that God can perform miracles in ANYsituation, including Josiah’s. But I need to know if it is truly a miracle.
    Thank you.
